After three months from her birth, Michaela was adopted by the Thomsons, a British Columbian white couple. Among the five daughters, the couple adopted, Michaela is an African Canadian where as others four are Native Americans. She spent a diverse full childhood because of the ethnic variation between her siblings & her parents.
